Our classes are changing this year…….. We are trying something NEW……..

We have PT Sessions Mon, Wed  @ 9 am and 6 pm….Fri @ 9 am and 4.30 pm……..these are for group fitness and working with our Challenge Group. ($9 each)

TUESDAY:

How’s the butt and legs feeling today girls?………..with those different squats we all tried.

This morning we did legs………oh boy …..did we do legs!……..hahahahahaha

James gave us this workout to try…was gona do it on my own but decided the girls were def strong enough…

We did:   3 sets of Leg Press…..10 seconds to lift up then 3 full reps…….. 5 times….Helen and I used 100kg, Sheree used 40 kgs.

We also did:  3 sets of Leg Extension…..the same way…….Helen and I used 12 kgs and Sheree used 8kgs…..

wobbly legs at the time and leg extensions made them burn…….BUT…….mine are fine…Just don’t tell James

Abs;  50 side to sides obliques and 30 crunches with feet up x 5 sets.

Last week for the Christmas Shred………hopefully our eating plan will continue over Christmas.  Its relatively easy to do

and there is always lots of chicken meat available….lol

 

Next week is the last week for classes for the year……..We will be available for PT sessions in January if you are

finding it hard too exercise by yourselves……James and I are available…..

MONDAY:

Here we are ….the last week of Christmas Shred………shapes have changed for sure…body fat has melted away

Jenn and I have done well….if you see Jenn, make sure you acknowledge the work she has done….awesome!!

 

The girls and I worked chest this morning….and everyone did our workout as well for pump classes.

4 sets…20 – 22 reps single arm bench press…with 4 sets of 4 x press ups, 1 knee up and 2 strides

In between we did squats over the bench x 4 sets of 15 reps

4 sets…..15 reps of each, chest press, heavy, on machine and seated rows, light but squeezing shoulder blades together.

in between we did full squats with pump bar x 4 sets of 15 reps

Can feel these little numbers……..hmmm.!

Girls….. its hot when you are working out…….wear something that is cool……you are here to work so please don’t worry that your arms

are not the shapeliest or the firmest………mine aren’t………that’s why I work them regularly.  No-one cares what state your arms are in

we are not that sort of Jym……be comfortable knowing that you can wear sleeveless and be cool and know it is safe to.

One of our members is hiding a lovely shape underneath her long sleeve top….she really would blow you away…Shame I can’t get

FRIDAY:

Legs day today……we did  a leg circuit

4 rounds of 20 reps, 15 reps, 10 reps  &  6 reps of each of ………….Leg extension. lying leg curls, DB squats and seated leg curls.

followed by lunges to the gate and back……………. wobbly legs….hehehehe

 

What is your treat going to be this weekend?

You can have 1 meal and you can have whatever you want……….Now that I have the choice…I don’t know what I want or what I feel

like……weird….

THURSDAY:

Measurements today………staying the same……….next week is body fat…..

Great spin class this morning all the girls again……is getting warmer in the mornings.

feeling like crap again this morning so girls did shoulders:

4 x sets …..4 x heavy, 4 x med and 4 x light shoulder press

3 sets………4 x, 4 x , 4x lat raise

Abs:………..1 minute side to sides, 30 seconds crunches x 3….

 

Didn’t do tonight’s weight training……..hope am better for Friday.

 

We got legs tomorrow……….look out.

House is dry…….carpet in bedroom still sodden but floor underneath is dry…….just waiting now for assessor to do report and let us know what is to be done

WEDNESDAY:

well now I did an amazing thing today…..I RAN!!!!!….Now I don’t run as a rule,

I don’t like running….but we did this morning!!!

Back was on the agenda this morning…

4 x each circuit…….seated row, bent over row, straight arm pulldown and lat pulldown..15 reps each

and in between each circuit we RAN out to gate and back…this old girl didn’t do so bad…if I say

so myself……..tomorrow will tell…hahahahahaha…if you see me broken…….you’ll know why

anyhow to finish off back we did  1 set of Bent Over DB Rows…….10 reps, 8 reps, 6 reps and 4 reps

Then 20 minutes of cardio…at a steady pace on treadmill or strider.

Was feeling pretty pleased with myself…….got a call from my house cleaner and that changed the day….

I had a burst pipe in the bathroom and by the time I got home the hall, bathroom and toilet and bedroom next to toilet was flooded with hot water……ankle deep in bathroom/toilet……fun.  Downstairs was not much better with water leaking through the roof from above…….Thank goodness for house cleaners…thank God she was there when it burst.    Photos to follow…….
